Watch D.O.G.S

WATCH D.O.G.S. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations in the country. Since the program’s creation in 1998, more than 6,450 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own. Each school year hundreds of thousands of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on millions of children by volunteering millions of hours in their local schools through this amazing one-of-a-kind program. Who are WatchDOGS? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.

We’re encouraging every father to try this year to give the present of presence for their child’s birthday.  If you’re able to take a full or half day off work and plan to volunteer at the school with your child on or near their birthday, it will be an awesome gift for them and will help us build the program!

If you are interested in taking part or have any questions contact Hutchinson’s Top DOGS at hutchwatchdogs@gmail.com

Our program does require a background check which takes about two weeks for JeffCo to process. To become a Hutchinson Watch Dog, we ask for a one-time $20 donation. This covers the background check and t-shirt. Scholarship funding is available.
